Research On The Creation Of Camera Language In Documentaries About Intangible Cultural Heritage

Intangible cultural heritage(AKA ‘intangible heritage'),which contains the profound history and immortal spirit of the Chinese nation,is a precious wealth accumulated by human history and civilization.A large amount of intangible heritage is now facing the dilemma of gradual disappearance and inability to inherit as the modern human society developing.However,this issue has been received widely increasing attention recently.As a medium of communication,documentary film not only focuses on the subject in front the lens and also records authenticity from an objective perspective.This unique artistic feature coincides with the requirements for the protection and inheritance of intangible heritage.With the advent of the new media era,mainstream media such as radio and TV stations produced numerous video works which have left a huge amount of valuable image and video data for intangible heritage documentary.However,there are few researches on the creation of montage in this typical field,even not to mention the theoretical researches and practical summaries.Montage occupies a vital position in the production of intangible heritage documentaries and has an inevitable connection with the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.Intangible heritage documentary shows the audience a real,complete and vivid world by using montage,this wonderful personal experience can have a positive effect on inheriting culture.This thesis consists of four chapters.The introduction,combined with the analysis of the current research situation,clarifies the necessity of research on the intangible heritage documentary montage creation.The first chapter introduces the main research object——the relationship between intangible heritage documentary and montage,and explains the role of montage in intangible heritage documentary.The second chapter focuses on the strategies of montage when producing the intangible heritage documentaries.Combining with the graduation work INGENUITY IN HUIZHOU,the author tries to analyze the strategies in practical production.The third chapter mainly analyzes the use of montage techniques in intangible heritage documentaries.And the last chapter expounds the value and significance of montage to the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.This thesis uses the author's graduation work INGENUITY IN HUIZHOU as an example to study the creation of montage in intangible heritage documentaries.Combining with the practical production experience and the strategies of montage when producing documentaries,the author tries to summarize the strategies and techniques in this kind of production,and provide a use of montage in intangible heritage documentaries to provide certain amount of experience in the future.
