In recent years,“Marvel” seems to become a well-known word with the development of film industry.The huge success made by “Marvel” movies has set off a craze in China.East China University of Science and Technology Press seized the opportunity and has published many bilingual books on “Marvel”movies of the same name,Captain America: Civil War being one of them.Captain America,as a fairly important member in the Avengers,has left a deep impression on the teenagers at home and abroad;therefore,it is of great value to translate Captain America: Civil War.On the whole,this book mainly consists of two parts: one is the dialogue between characters,the other is the fight among the Avengers.As the title suggests,the translation of fighting plots is of great significance to the translation of the whole book.The translator ought to balance the literariness of the fiction as well as the coherence and the imagery of the fighting plots.Based on the author's translation,the author,under the guidance of the three standards put forward by Guo Jianzhong,aims to explore the effective translation strategies for fighting plots,to maintain the original style as much as possible and to stimulate the interests of the target readers.After repeated revisions and proofreading,the author has discovered that there are two key points in translating fighting plots: First is “soul”,which means retaining the spirit or the aesthetic interests of the original work so as to embody literariness;Second is “change”,which means getting rid of the original structure,digging out the most natural translation so as to create pictures and tension for readers.After the author finishing the translation of this book,all sorts of feelingswell up in her mind.This book,to author,is the greatest fruit during the postgraduate period as well as a further knowledge of literary translation.As for the author,the prerequisite of literary translation is the familiarity with the original text,namely thorough and accurate understanding of it;in addition,a translator should be patient and careful to carve,to polish the “artwork” while doing literary translation;last but not least,the knowledge of two different languages,especially the translator's mother tongue,is crucial to literary translation.
