The Direction Of Music Creation In Contemporary Erhu Works The Return Of Traditional Culture

In the erhu's unique life course,the composers relied on different backgrounds of the era to create a large number of works with the characteristics of the era for this instrument.According to the erhu and the evolution of various aspects,it can be roughly divided into the start-up period,prosperity period,and new exploration period.In recent years,a number of works featuring erhu's outstanding traditional culture and propagating outstanding Chinese traditional stories have appeared in new works of erhu,such as "The Legend of Zeng Hou Yi"," " Fast Snow and Time " First Movement","My Motherland" and so on.Coincidentally,General Secretary Xi mentioned in several speeches about the viewpoint of China's outstanding traditional culture,which created an opportunity for Erhu,a national musical instrument with a long history,to tell Chinese stories well.To sum up,the author will take contemporary Erhu works as the starting point,and take “cultural self-confidence” and “China's transmission of outstanding traditional culture” as the starting point of political theory.Erhu can better promote China's excellent traditional culture and tell Chinese stories well.
