There are a large number of research results on Chinese reading among international students,but they mainly focus on linguistics and education.In recent years,researches on metacognition strategies in the field of educational psychology,based on the theory of metacognition strategies,have produced few results on the impact of meta-cognitive strategies on Chinese reading among overseas students.There are more and more international students studying in China,but most of them do not have a complete set of reading methods in the process of Chinese reading,and do not have the habit of using metacognition strategies in Chinese reading,As a deep cognitive activity,metacognition strategy plays an important role in international students' Chinese reading.Based on Lanzhou university international cultural exchange intermediate stage of the intermediate students as the research object,research students before reading and reading,while reading the corresponding planning strategies to monitor the usage of strategy and assessment strategy,and according to the reading situation of students,develop detailed training plan,in the actual teaching,cultivate students to consciously using metacognition strategies in the habit of reading guidance,will the students the reading skills of metacognition strategy,so as to improve the effect of reading.This paper takes metacognition strategies and Chinese reading as the starting point,expounds the relationship between metacognition strategies and second language reading teaching,clarifies the research status of the application of metacognition strategies in Chinese reading,and finds the research perspective of this paper.According to the questionnaire survey,the untrained overseas students sometimes use metacognition strategies,The most frequently used strategies are assessment strategies,followed by monitoring strategies,and the least frequently used strategies are planning strategies,Before the training,students were unfamiliar with metacognition strategies,but they would use them unconsciously.After the training,they often used metacognition strategies to guide Chinese reading,The mostfrequently used strategies were monitoring strategies,followed by assessment strategies,and the least frequently used strategies were planning strategies,metacognition strategy can be used as a complete method to help international students to establish a reading system,and students' awareness of using metacognition strategy to read has been strengthened,metacognition strategy also plays a positive role in international students' Chinese reading.
