Study Of Taoism In Tianshui From Yuan Dynasty To Qing Dynasty

In recent years,the study of regional Taoism has become a hot stop in Taoism and religious studies,but the study of Taoism in Tianshui has not received sufficient attention.This paper is a study of Taoism in the Tianshui region during the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,focusing on the data of inscriptions of stone,combined with local documents such as fangzhi,and data from field surveys.Firstly,a basic review of the data on Daoist inscriptions is made,and the value of Taoist inscriptions for the study of the history of Quanzhenism in the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,the history of Taoism in the Tianshui region and local social history is revealed.Secondly,it invest and retrospect the Taoism temple in Tianshui since the Yuan Dynasty,and examines the belief in immortals and their characteristics,thus reflecting the development and evolution of Taoism in Tianshui.Finally,it reveals the social function of Taoism in Tianshui by exploring the official management of Taoism in the region and the interaction between Taoism and various segments of local society.
