T he growth of the current economic level,the heating up of cultural consumption by the masses,the wave of the new economy in the Internet era,and the tilt of national policies have made the cultural media industry gradually become one of the current sunrise industries.The gradual promotion of the status of the cultural media industry and the expanding space for economic growth have promoted the capital market's march into the cultural m edia industry.In recent years,the number of listed companies in the cultural media industry has also gradually increased.In 2019,117 A-share cultural media companies have been listed.However,with the rapid development of cultural media listed companies,more and more problems are faced.The relatively weak level of financial performance is also one of the important issues currently existing in cultural media listed companies in China.Performance,to ensure the rapid and sustainable development of the enterprise,and to obtain higher returns in the listing,a full understanding and reasonable application of the financial system is required.The establishment of a reasonable,efficient and scientific financial system helps to improve the financial performance of the company.It helps enterprises reduce funding pressure and provides an important basis for the design and adjustment of top-level strategies,This paper analyzes the current status and characteristics of listed companies in the cultural media industry,and uses factor analysis as an empirical method to study the financial performance of listed companies in the cultural media.Taking 37 corresponding cultural media listed companies as the sample for this study,and combining literature on industry characteristics and financial performance,12 financial indicators such as return on equity,net interest rate,and earnings per share were selected.The empirical results show that four common factors are extracted and named as solvency,profitability,operating ability and development ability.Among them,the debt-solving ability and profitability have a relatively large weight,and the operating ability and development ability have a relatively small weight.Using comprehensive scores to quantify the research samples and conduct vertical analysis,it is found that the current financial media listed companies have problems such as insufficient comprehensive financial competitiveness and serious polarization of profitability,and then put forward a number of feasible suggestions for corresponding problems.Provide corresponding support for improving the financial performance of listed companies in the cultural media industry.
