Xi Xi is one of the most representative local writers in Hong Kong. She keeps exploring and innovating in the selection of novel contents and the use of creative techniques, and refuses to be defined. She hopes that her novels can provide readers with new contents or new techniques. However, the constant innovation doesn't make her works separate from the real life. The textual city constructed in her novels comes from her life experience,as well as the projection of her unique emotional attitude and cognition towards the city. This paper is discussed from three aspects:the construction of the textual city, the shaping of the characters and the application of the creative techniques,to go into “my city” by Xi Xi and explore her unique ways of telling a story. The first part is the city in my eyes. This part discusses how the living space changes over time in Xi Xi's urban writing. And in the process of the city's change and development,Xi Xi's emotional interaction changes to the city at her different life stages. The second part is me living in the city. This part starts from the diachronic perspective to explore the life experience of people in different historical periods in a gradually formed city. Then, according to synchronic angel, different living conditions of people living together in the city with the consciousness of our city are explored. Finally, look at the vitality of other creatures besides the people in Xi Xi's works. The third part explores the methods of constructing me and city. This part discusses the ways of constructing me and city with dialogue from three aspects:multiple narrative perspectives transformation, parenthesis and reader's participation in creation. The final epilogue further summarizes the whole paper, and emphasizes the uniqueness of Xi Xi's city writing and her important role in Hong Kong literature and even Chinese literature.
