A Study On The Combination Of Bronze Ritual Vessels In The Early Zhou Dynasty

This article takes bronze ritual tombs in the early Zhou Dynasty as the research object.After a clarifying space-time scope,the bronze ritual tombs were sorted out,and a total of 307 well preserved and well-defined combination of bronze ritual tombs were counted.Starting from various types of bronze rituals,types,specific combinations,and tomb levels.The time and space differences of bronze rituals from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the early spring and autumn were analyzed.The main content of the paper is divided into eight chapters:The first chapter is an introduction.After defining its related concepts,combs the previous research results,point out the deficiencies,put forward the research content of this article and explain related issues.In the second chapter,the bronze ceremonial tomb materials from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the early Spring and Autumn Period are organized and divided into four periods.In chapters three,four,five,and six,the bronze ceremonial combinations of different areas in the early,middle,late of Western Zhou Dynasty and early spring and autumn are analyzed one by one,from various combinations,utensils,specific combinations,tomb levels,and existing columns.From the various combinations,utensils,specific combinations,tomb levels,the existence of columns and organs,explore the changes and regional differences in the combinations of bronze rituals in different periods.In the seventh chapter,compare the combination of bronze ritual vessels in various periods,and summarize the chronological changes of the combination of bronze ritual vessels.In the early Western Zhou Dynasty,the bronze etiquette combination had inherited the tradition of businessmen and its own development.Various types of bronze rituals and utensils are similar to merchants,and the specific combination is slightly different.In the middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty,the bronze ritual combination continued the earlier combination,and the status of the wine utensils in the combinationbegan to decline.In the late Western Zhou Dynasty,great changes took place in the combination of bronze ritual utensils,such as xu,yi,zhou and other utensils.The combination of a single wine vessel disappeared completely,and formed a composite combination with the pot as the core,which is different from the early and middle of the Western Zhou Dynasty.The combination of the early spring and autumn and the late Western Zhou Dynasty is the same.The combination of wine vessels only exists in the compound combination of the tableware,wine vessel and water vessel,and most of them are paired pots.In the chapter eight is the conclusion.Summarize the main conclusions of this article and raise the issues that need further study.
