Study On Marx's Thought Of The Good Life

Historical materialism is the genius discovery of Marx,which scientifically interpreted the law of societal development,and realized the "rational concrete" understanding of "man" and "life".According to Marx's philosophy,the essential attributes of human beings mainly include perceptual objectiveness,social historicity and transcendence,while the life of human beings mainly shows the natural and social relations of human beings.As a kind of human liberation,the good life is also bound to return to people's own life.Based on the standpoint,viewpoint and method of historical materialism,this paper demonstrates the foundation,subject and realization path of Marx's thought of the good life.The foundation of the good life lies in the liberation of labor.Perceptual objectiveness is the essential attribute of human beings,to which the return of natural relations and social relations is the liberation of labor.Natural relations and social relations are generated and developed in human labor,so the condition of labor determines the living condition of human beings.In the alienated labor,the natural relationship and the social relationship are the alienated relationship that people are forced to accept,and this alienated relationship directly leads to the deterioration of people's life.Only by constantly promoting the liberation of labor,can natural relations and social relations return to people themselves,and can the good life be realistically generated.The people are the subject of the good life.Social historicity is the essential attribute of human beings,and the people are the positive expression of human beings' society and history.The return of natural relations andsocial relations to human beings is reflected in the strengthening and consolidation of people's dominant position.In terms of natural relations,people produce,evaluate and enjoy their material means of life and labor in their material production and labor,thus enormously enriching the material means of life and labor and realizing the return of natural relations to human beings.In terms of social relations,people produce,evaluate and enjoy their social relations in their social intercourse and labor,and transform the way of production organization and the superstructure of the society,thus realizing the return of people's social relations to themselves."Self-fulfilment" is the path to the good life.Transcendence is the essential attribute of human beings,to which the return of natural relations and social relations reflects the "self-fulfilment" of human beings."Self-fulfilment" is the subject representation of "real man".Starting from the "real man",Marx overcame the previous philosophers' abstract understanding of "self" and achieved the scientific understanding of "self" and "self-realization".From the perspective of the subject,the good life is generated realistically in the cycle of "self-fulfilment".Therefore,"self-fulfilment" establishes the value goal and practice criterion for improving the natural relationship and social relationship in practice,which constitutes the basic path of building the good life.In a word,the good life in Marx's philosophy is the return of the liberation of labor,the return of the subject status of the people and the return of the reality of "self" in the field of life of the natural and social relations of human beings whose essential attributes are perceptual object,social history and transcendence.Only by re-establishing the liberation nature of labor,earnestly respecting the people's principal position,and paying attention tocultivating "self" and creating objective conditions for "self-fulfilment" can we realize a truly good life.
