Study On The Cultural Identity In The TV Play "Going East To Native Land" From The Perspective Of Image Symbols

The Chinese civilization has always been famous for its long history.People of all ethnic groups often evoke the common memory of the nation in the recollection and retrospect of the national history.In history,Torghut's return to the East was not only a powerful call for the blood of the same origin of the country 's compatriots,but also a powerful call to Mongolian culture and Mongolian identity.Against the background of historical facts,the TV play "Going East to Native Land" reproduces and eulogizes the identity of the Mongolian as a people and nation by taking Torghut tribe as the epitome under the grand historical background.Taking the signifier and signified of image symbols as the theoretical basis,this paper adopts the text analysis method and uses the basic element of film and television communication--the image symbol as an entry point to comprehensively analyze the television texts of the TV play "Going East to Native Land".On visual image symbols,entity symbol in the play not only has signifer meaning of image symbol,but also has signified meaning of image symbols,that is,through the presentation of image symbols such as environmental symbols,food and clothing symbols and prop symbols,it shows the identity of Torghut people to Mongolian culture,as well as the identity of the country based on the thought of the homeland.In the play,the behavioral characteristics of the Torghut people at the material level point directly to their inner world such as national character,ancestor worship,national aesthetics,and other spiritual levels.This expression on the spiritual level is the identification and conversion of the Torghut to the Mongolian culture and the home country.In terms of auditory images,the musical symbol "Hongyan" expresses the Mongolian people's farewell,homesickness and endless hopes in the play.Together with the background music,the video images in the play contrasts and echoes with thevideo images of Torghut tribe's cultural attachment to the Mongolian culture in their underlying homesickness,which expresses the identification and pursuit of Torghut tribe for the Mongolian culture and the grassland in homeland.By analyzing the cultural identity in the image symbol of the TV Play "Going East to Native Land",the author hopes to promote the ideas of national culture that are conducive to national unity and progress,and encourages people of all ethnic groups to work together to achieve common prosperity and development.
