Study On The Female Image In The Paintings Of Song Dynasty

The images of women in the handed down Song paintings shown in multiple identities of different classes,also present their own characteristics.These depictions of female characters provide intuitive image materials for today's people to understand the images of women in the Song Dynasty,women's daily lives and the society of the Song Dynasty.This article takes the image of women in the handed down paintings of Song Dynasty as the research object,and discusses the social and women's life in the Song Dynasty.It includes the following three aspects:The first part is the image of women in the handed down Song paintings.Based on the depictions of women's clothing,makeup,relationships with surrounding people,and interaction with the environment in the painting,combined with historical materials to interpret women's identity and explore the historical information reflected in the picture.The second part summarizes the characteristics of female paintings handed down from the Song Dynasty.The portrait of the lady depicting upper-middle-class women 's images and the genre paintings depicting civilian women 's images show different development trends in the Song Dynasty.In the portrayal of female images of different classes,the mother's image is the object that the painter is willing to depict.These are closely related to the particularity of society and culture in song dynasty.The third part discusses the Song Dynasty society and women's daily life that was depicted in the female theme paintings.By further exploring it in three aspects,which are the paintings of women's farming and weaving,the paintings of women's economic participation and Confucian traditional ideas reflected by female theme paintings,it exhaustively reveals the Song Dynasty society and women's daily life.
