Bing Xin's life experiences in the exotic cities had almost run through her whole life course from the 1920 s to the end of the 1980 s,and more than one eighth of the precious writings of her prose had been left for us during this period.Bing Xin's experiences in exotic cities during the period of studying in America and living in Japan, and the experiences of visiting countries as the cultural ambassador after returning to the country are taken as the principal line in this article, the research are conducted from the perspective of the exotic experiences and literary writing. The first chapter is the American impression during the period of studying abroad. The prose in the first exotic experience in Bing Xin's life during the period of studying in America is taken as the research object to explore Bing Xin's impression on America for her first contact with the exotic city.First of all,the beautiful natural scenery in the exotic cities expanded Bing Xin's aesthetic view, which greatly promoted the artistic value of the writings written at this time.At the same time, the emotional alienation of the exotic wanderer was implied in the description of the exotic scenery.Secondly, the reflection on America civilization was concentrated on the comparison of national character and cultural acceptance between the two countries, which was characterized by intellect and gentleness.Generally speaking,America described by Bing Xin gave people the warm feeling at that time, and the unusual tender feeling color was provided by the prose writing. To find out its cause,on the one hand, the cultural inadaptability seldom emerged due to the cultural influence of America before going to the exotic cities,on the other hand,it had a lot to do with the disease experience and personal situation after going to the exotic cities. The second chapter is the opinion about Toei thinking while living in Japan. From the postwar period to the establishement of New China,Bing xin was almost the only well-known writer of China to the post-war land of Japan. In a complicated situation,Bing Xin's exotic experience and writing are invaluable for understanding Bing Xin's individual and times.First of all,Bing Xin held the "friendly" view for Japanese culture, affirming the culture of the other side and not denying her own.Bing Xin was too tolerant of the Japanese people in the early stage of her visit to Japan, which could be separated from the experience of the war that had been just ended, emphasizing the identity of the victim.Bing Xin's attitude and narrative tone had been also changed with the passage of time living in Japan and the in-depth observation towards Japanese society.Secondly, since the readers to be faced were the Japanese people,Bing Xin's prose writing during this period also conveyed the modern and positive new image of China to the Japanese people constantly to help the Japanese peoplereverse their stigmatization perception towards China for a long time.At last, driven by intellectuals' sense of responsibility and suffering, the forms of expression for Bing Xin's prose writing were enriched in this period to construct an ideal Sino-Japanese relationship constantly, which was unreasonable to a certain extent. The last chapter is the writings of Great Harmony during the period of the cultural ambassador.Bing Xin visited many foreign countries as the cultural ambassador after returning to China, the contradiction had emerged between the exotic experiences and the literary writing in this period.First of all,the capitalist countries depicted by Bing Xin were facing the decline and the people's spirits were generally "red",which had avoided the realities of the capitalist countries deliberately.Secondly, the Soviet union became a role model for New China, other democratic and friendly countries became the friends hand in hand of the new China on the road of anti-imperialism and anti-colonialism.Only the infinite praise and greets could be seen in Bing Xin's writings on these friendly countries, individual feelings almost disappeared, which had been replaced by "our" feelings. At last, the contradiction between the exotic experiences and literary writing cannot be separated from the transformation of the writer's personal identity, the stipulations of political ideology and individual national sentiments. What can not be ignored is that Bing Xin had been still struggling for the creative space under various stipulations.
