Musical actors portray their roles in many ways which include voice,image and body.This article explores the characterization of musical actors-taking the different characters of female B role in the musical "I Love You" as an example.The characterization is an important part in the process of musical performance.Through the characterization a "hypothetical" existence can be created between the characters and the audience which makes the audience think that you are the person in the play.This is an important link for musical actors.Whether a musical can bring shocking sight and hearing to the audience depends on whether the actors themselves can perfectly shape the characters of the characters.Taking the analysis of the characters and music of female role B in the musical "I Love You" in different age stages as an example,the essential significance of image shaping for drama performance is expounded through the differences in age performance.Therefore,the characterization of different roles is the most basic performance method for musical actors and also the basic way to maximize the effect of musical presentation.Only in this way can the musical performance be better and better interpreted to the audience.
