Since the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area became a national strategy in2017,the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has entered a period of rapid construction and development.The development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has accelerated the integration of the Greater Bay Area,prompting more countries and the Greater Bay Area to exchange more frequently in trade,technology,culture and other fields.Economic,trade and cultural exchanges and cooperation are frequent,requiring a large number of applied and compound business English talents who are proficient in English,master business knowledge,good at communication,and understand cross-cultural knowledge.They also put forward higher professional,methodological and social capabilities for workers.Claim.Secondary vocational and technical schools should take action,firmly grasp the opportunities for the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,keep pace with the Area,vocational business English majors are faced with new development opportunities and challenges.How to seize the opportunities and adapt to the requirements of enterprises in theBay Area for the vocational ability of vocational business English majors and improve their professional abilities It is a subject worth studying.This paper,through the literature research method,the research background,professional ability and domestic literature are sorted out,key concepts are defined,and the theoretical basis is analyzed.Then,combined with the literature research method and the survey method,it analyzes the requirements of the vocational ability of secondary vocational business English students under the background of the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.Then through the investigation and case study method,taking the business English major of Peiying Vocational School in Taishan City as an example,the graduates,teachers and students in the school are investigated to understand the current status of vocational ability training of business English students in vocational schools.Then,through statistical analysis,data analysis is conducted to reveal the problems of vocational competence training for students of vocational business English majors,and analyze the causes of the problems.Finally,the optimization strategy of vocational ability Area.2.Taking business English students as the object,this paper analyzes the existing problems of professional ability training,and puts forward the optimization strategies of professional ability training of business English students under the background of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.The training strategy has the characteristics of business English major,which is in line with the actual situation of the major.It is a beneficial attempt to solve the current difficulties of students' vocational ability training,promote the sustainable development of the major,guide the
