The Construction Of Employment-oriented Professional Training System In Business English Major

With the development of Kunshan's foreign-oriented economy, practical Business English personnel are in bad needs. The core competitiveness of Business English personnel is abilities to operate, therefore, the personnel training objective for Business English should be skilled intellectually people familiar with the theory and practice of trade & the operations of modern office equipment, who can fluently use English to deal with business affairs.But through the surveys of employing units and graduates , we found that there is an obvious gap between the demand of employing units and the practical skills of our Business English professional graduates . The main problem is that our professional training is very weak. We have no specific training plans and satisfying practical training base ;our college is short of appropriate teachers for the training guidance , not strictly the practice of the teaching of management and we also lake strict supervision systems and evaluation systems.The basic task for higher professional education is to develop practical specialists with high technology, therefore we must strengthen the English communication capability and the training of business skills to develop our students into skilled talents with overall English and business knowledge. So the professional training is vital to Business English practical teaching .Professional practice teaching is to cultivate students'comprehensive vocational abilities. It is the key point for the integration of relevant knowledge and skills and it can promote the coordinated development of various skills . Professional training is essential to realize the objectives of vocational education, and it is interacted with the teaching of theoryThe construction and conduct of professional training depends on the correct understanding of professional training's reform; the accurate positioning of the teaching objectives; the proper setting of practical courses; the constant improvement of practical teaching conditioned in the schools and outside the school .The overall optimization of professional training can improve the quality of our students and enhance the graduates'competitiveness.There is no clear practical teaching objectives; no specific training projects and no prominent professional skills training is common in Business English teaching .The training methods is simple, it can't develop students'comprehensive abilities. We should lay down suitable personnel training objectives according to the surveys of employing units and graduates and take their advice to realize the objectives with appropriate training methods.All in all, Professional training is an important element in Business English teaching, it can reflect the teaching philosophy of"integrating theory with practice".
