Through the in-depth study of Sister Brent's character background, figure, voice, individual traits and inner feelings,we can understand that Brent has a dual character, that is,indifference in front of others and fanaticism in solitude. How to break through the shackles of the limited lines with a strong sense of religion and alienation, and fully display Brent's character has become the key to shaping Brent for the actor.Body language can break through the limitation of vocal language and express the feeling understandable yet indescribable. At the same time, body language which is an indispensable means in performance creation can enrich performance details, show characteristics of the role, reflect inner feelings, clarify the relationship between characters, and increase the tension and appeal of drama. The actor's understanding and design of body language in line with the role is also an important part of creation.Based on the experience of playing Sister Brent in And Then There Were None, this thesis mainly discusses the significance, design process and application of body language in performance creation.
