Most people living in society are eager to have good social relationships and receive social support.Social exclusion as a negative interpersonal interaction has undermined this individual's expectation.Studies have shown that individuals become emotionally numb after social exclusion, with subsequent automatic emotional regulation, and are more sensitive to positive information.Attachment,as a long-term emotional trait possessed by individuals, can affect the automatic regulation of emotions, but few studies have established attachment to social exclusion. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the differences in the automated emotional regulation of individuals with different attachment types after social exclusion from the perspective of attachment.Experiment 1 enrolled 255 students from a university in Northwest China. They used the future life paradigm for manipulation of social exclusion. They used the emotion and basic needs scale to test the dominant emotions of individuals who experienced social exclusion, and investigated the individuals who experienced social exclusion through a free recall task survey.Of the state of automated emotional regulation, and the differences in automated emotional regulation among individuals with different attachment types under exclusion conditions. It was found that in the dominant mood, there was no significant difference between the rejection group and the acceptance group. The rejection group scored significantly higher on the free recall task than the acceptance group.Under exclusion conditions, the scores of safe attachment individuals on free recall tasks were significantly higher than those of non-secure attachment individuals.Experiment 2 recruited 251 students from a university in Northwest China. The manipulation of social exclusion was the same as Experiment 1.A new scale more suitable for the future life paradigm(the PANAS scale)was used to measure explicit emotions.Visual search tasks were used.Take measurements of automated mood regulation. It was found that there was no significant difference between dominant emotion and experiment one.Under the condition that the stimulus word and the detection point are in the same position, the rejection group responds significantly faster than the acceptance group;in the rejection group, the safe attachment individual responds significantly faster than the non-secure attachment individual. The main conclusions of the current study are as follows:(1)there is no significant difference in explicit emotion between the rejection group and the acceptance group, but after experiencing social exclusion, individuals have automatic emotion regulation.(2)In the rejection group, secure attachment individuals had more significant automatic emotion regulation than fear, focus and indifference individ.
