Study On The Political Thought Of "Liu Zi"

There are fifty-five articles in Liu Zi,written by Liu Qi in the Northern Qi Dynasty.During his lifetime,Liu Zhou was diligent and loved to learn.He went through the Northern Wei Dynasty,Eastern Wei Dynasty,and Northern Qi Dynasty.He witnessed the sufferings of the people and the disadvantages of the world,eager to enter the career path,and made a difference,but in the end did nothing."Qi" is the basic category of Liu Zhou's philosophy."Humanity theory" is the foundation of his political thought.His theory of human nature defines human nature with the moral goodness of the "five constants",and attributes evil to internal "desire" and external "teaching".It formed the characteristics of Liu Zhou's theory of human nature,"two points of virtue and talent","goodness of humanity,evil desire","goodness of humanity,different habits".His political thoughts are based on social history and humanity theory as a logical starting point.It has formed a "people-oriented" benevolent political thought,a "combination of etiquette and law" moral and punishment politics,a military thought of "prohibiting violence and controversy",and a talented person's thought and a social history view.Generally speaking,Liu Zhou's theory of human nature is deeply influenced by the Han-Confucian theory of human nature and is unique.His political thoughts blended the academics of various schools with the spirit of Confucianism,reflecting strong realistic concern.From the book "Liu Zi",he has initially formed his own ideological system.
