The age distribution of silk unearthed in Dulan area of Qinghai is from the northern dynasty to the Tang dynasty. This batch of silk fabrics has a long time span, complete types and exquisite designs. The turan burial group was first excavated in1982.At present, there are three main viewpoints on the issue of burial species in the academic circle, namely "Tuyuhun" theory,"Tubo" theory, and "Tuyuhun state under the tubo rule" theory. At present, the published patterns of Duran silk fabric have been collected, which can be divided into four types of patterns according to the theme patterns: people patterns, animal patterns, plant patterns and other patterns. We made a comparative study of the representative patterns of silk fabric unearthed in Dulan region and those unearthed in other regions.Through comparative analysis,it is concluded that the origin of silk products unearthed in Dulan region mainly includes the central plains, the land of shu, khotan, and possibly from central Asia and Persia. In this part, the information reflected by silk patterns is mainly discussed from four aspects: technology, art, cultural communication and geographical transportation. These silk fabrics reflected the important position of Dulan region as the hub of the silk road, and also showed the grand situation of material and cultural exchanges between the central plains and the western frontier ethnic areas,China and central Asia at that time, providing a lot of material materials for relevant research.
