In this paper, the author makes a survey and statistics of the Pottery Li in the southeast of Gansu Province, including its archaeological excavation, social collection and museum collection. On the basis of consulting a large number of data and through field investigation, many new data have been added, and classified and sorted according to the no ear, single ear and double ear.The types of Pottery Li in Southeast Gansu include Qijia culture,Siwa culture,Zhou Culture and Xirong culture. It is analyzed that the evolution of pottery is closely related to the universal use of earthen stoves, which eventually led to the withdrawal of pottery from the historical stage and its replacement by other artifacts.Based on the change of the shape of Pottery Li,the culture of Qijia culture is divided into three periods: early Longshan period, late Longshan period and summer period;Siwa culture is divided into four periods: early Zhou, early Western Zhou period and late Western Zhou period;Zhou culture is divided into six periods: early Zhou, early Western Zhou period, middle Western Zhou period, late Western Zhou period, spring and Autumn period and Warring States period;Xirong culture is divided into spring and Autumn period and war period.Comparing the Pottery Li in the southeast of Gansu with those in Shanxi,Shanxi and Henan,we can see that Qijia culture is closely related to the culture of keshengzhuang,Xinghua and Erlitou. At different stages of development, the Shang and Qin cultures also interact with the Zhou and Siwa cultures in this area.
