Study On The Shape Of Five Hundred Arhats In Baoguang Temple In Xindu And Its Application In Mural Creation

This paper is mainly divided into three parts to explain the shape of The Five hundred Arhat of Xindu Baoguang Temple and its application in mural creation.The first part combs out the basis and creation background of the five hundred Arhat of Xindu Baoguang Temple,briefly describes the origin and development of the five hundred Arhat,and analyzes the generation of the five hundred Arhat of Xindu Baoguang Temple.In the second part,as the Xindu Baoguang Temple is the representative of the Southern Zen forest,monks advocate the practice and life of Zen,and the statue of five hundred Arhats in the Xindu Baoguang Temple also reflects the beauty of the freedom of practice and thought,the beauty of artistic and modeling freedom.The third part describes the practice and application of five hundred Arhat statues in the creation of mural paintings.According to my practical research,mural paintings are similar to the carriers of statues,using roughly the same materials and production steps,and have the feasibility of transformation.Based on the previous theoretical and practical research,I applied the modeling characteristics of the "beauty of freedom" of the New Capital 500 Arhats to my works,mainly from the delicate and exquisite patterns and the realism and exaggeration of the arhats.
