In 1998,Chinese language officially entered the national education system of Belarus.Chinese language education was gradually popularized in primary and secondary schools in Belarus,and the number of Volunteer Chinese teachers in Belarus was also increasing.At the same time,a series of intercultural adaptation problems have emerged in the process of volunteer service,which directly or indirectly affect the daily life and teaching work of volunteers.Based on the problem of intercultural adaptation of Volunteer Chinese teachers to Belarus,this paper takes the black three-dimensional structure as the model and the intercultural adaptation theory as the basis,and takes 63 Chinese teachers volunteers to Belarus as the research objects.The research is carried out by means of questionnaire,interview and case studyfrom three dimensions of life adaptation,work adaptation and communication adaptation of Chinese teacher volunteers.This paper analyzes the intercultural adaptation of this group in detail.The results show that: from 2019 to 2020,the overall level of intercultural adaptation of Chinese teachers in Belarus is good,but there are still many problems in life,work and communication.First,language communication is the biggest factor affecting intercultural adaptation;Second,the biggest problem in life adaptation is dietary habit;Third,the biggest problem inwork adaptation is classroom management;Fourth,the biggest problem in communication and psychological adaptation is loneliness.The correlation between intercultural adaptation and each aspect is ranked from strong to weak: work adaptation,life adaptation and communication adaptation.In addition,gender,personality,education background,major,overseas experience,workload and so on are the factors that affect the intercultural adaptation of Volunteer Chinese teachers in Belarus.This paper puts forward feasible suggestions for the volunteers and Hanban management department in view of the problems in the investigation.This paper will introduce the intercultural adaptation of volunteer teachers in Belarus.Through scientific data analysis,sorting out and analyzing these intercultural experiences will certainly make the latecomers less detours,and hope to be helpful to the later volunteers and team building.
