| About 10,000 Chinese from the Siyi region of Guangdong lived on Sarikei,Sarawak,Malaysia.Their ancestral home was mainly from Guangdong Xinhui.The Xinhui dialect they spoke came from the Cantonese dialect Siyi film.Through field investigation,this thesis cuts in from the perspective of vocabulary,and uses the Xinhui dialectal vocabulary of Sarikei as the research subject,and compares it with the Xinhui dialect vocabulary of Guangdong.Digging the development of the Xinhui Chinese community on Sarikei.The main part of this thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction,which mainly introduces the general situation of Sarikei in Sarawak,Malaysia,including the geography,Chinese,and language status,as well as the research overview of this thesis and the new phonetic system of Sarikei.The second chapter starts with the general and typical features of the Xinhui dialects on Sarikei,and shows the vocabulary overview of the Xinhui dialects on Sarikei.Chapter Three compares Xinhui dialects in Sarikei with Xinhui dialects in Guangdong from the perspective of word formation and culture,and shows the development of Xinhui dialects in the two places.Chapter four delves into the issue of borrowing words in the Xinhui dialect of Sarikei.It discusses the characteristics of borrowing words,the classifications of borrowing words,and the conversion of phonetic form,and outlines the state of existence of the Xinhui dialect in Sarikei.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.It mainly summarizes and summarizes the analysis of the full text,and points out the innovations and deficiencies of this thesis. |
