Under the backdrop of the rapid development of the Internetwork,the film and television industry has undergone tremendous changes,and the unique art category of documentary films has gradually developed towards marketization and commercialization.The "interests" of readers' aesthetic tastes and viewing habits have become important criteria for documentary film content selection and change in the form of transmission.In addition,"readers",as the main concept of accepting the study of aesthetic theory,were established by Hans Robert Jauss and Wolfgang Iser as an important point of view in literary studies.Based on this,the "reader" perspective establishes the affinity of theoretical research between acceptance aesthetics and documentary.The research focus of this article focuses on the strategic construction of the protagonist's image in the documentary.In theory,the three core concepts of "receiving readers","summoning structure",and "expecting horizon" in the aesthetics are selected as supporting tools.E =MC2 "is discussed as a case.The full text contains five chapters.The first part is the introduction;the second part is the construction strategy of the hero's image content;the third part is the strategy of the audiovisual construction of the hero's image;the fourth part is the strategy of the hero's image construction method;the fifth part is the conclusion.The thesis will explore how the characterization of the documentary is created from the perspective of a "reader",in order to summarize the methodology of character construction,and provide constructive references and opinions for the character creation of documentaries in China in the future.
