Research On Suzhou Traditional Crafts Revitalization Measures

China has a long history and the long years have endowed the country with rich traditional craft resources.In 2017,the ministry of culture took the lead in issuing the revitalization plan of traditional Chinese crafts,which clearly affirmed that the revitalization and protection of traditional crafts is the key to the development of traditional crafts.Under this background,all parts of the country are actively exploring the revitalization and protection measures of traditional craft,and better promote traditional craft into modern life.Suzhou is one of the famous historical and cultural cities,with a large number of traditional crafts and a complete range of crafts.This paper studies the revitalization measures of traditional craft in Suzhou,analyzes the proportion of traditional craft in the region from the perspective of "cultural area",and tries to use the concept of "traditional craft and culture area".The factors affecting the survival and development of traditional craft were listed,and the characteristics of traditional craft culture area in Suzhou were discussed with a lot of field surveys.To promote the combination of the characteristics of traditional craft culture area and the revitalization measures implemented locally,the author selects the relevant measures already implemented in the revitalization and protection of traditional craft in Suzhou from 2009 to 2019 to study and summarize the experience of effective measures.In addition,Suzhou society from all walks of life on the revitalization and development of traditional craft has carried out a lot of exploration,take the cooperation model between colleges and universities and traditional craft as an example,select Suzhou arts and crafts vocational technical college for case analysis,try to discuss how to integrate their own resources to promote the revitalization and development of traditional craft.In order to have a deeper understanding of the development status of the revitalization measures of traditional craft and the attitude of the inheritors,the fan making technique in Suzhou,one of the key projects of revitalizing traditional craft in Suzhou,was selected for a comprehensive analysis.This research combines the theoretical research and the case analysis of field investigation,and puts forward the concept of "traditional craft culture area",which refers to the evolution and division of traditional craft in the region.It is hoped that by sorting out and summarizing the revitalization measures in the traditional craft culture area,Suggestions and new ideas will be put forward for the revitalization of traditional craft in other areas.
