The employment situation is increasingly grim in recent years. The complex external environment brings unprecedented pressure and challenges to those college graduates. In this context, the role of person's resilience in coping with stress is particularly important.Resilience is regarded as a kind of good personal quality that someone can still perform well after experiencing setbacks. At present, there are few researches of resilience being discussed on the basis of a systematic career theory. The role and mechanism of resilience in the process of career development is not clear enough. The social-cognitive model of career self-management(CSM)provides a systematic theoretical framework of career theory. The current study attempted to examine the role of resilience and the mediating role of learning experiences between resilience and career decision-making self-efficacy on the basis of the CSM model. In this longitudinal study, through a multi-point research design, questionnaire survey method was used to collect the data of college graduates once a month for three times and finally 222 graduate's data were collected. We collected data of graduates in demographic information, resilience, learning experiences, career decision-making self-efficacy,outcome expectation, current employment status, etc.Data were processed by reliability and validity test, common method biases, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and structural equation model. Results indicated that(1)resilience contributed significantly and positively to the prediction of career decision-making self-efficacy;(2)resilience strongly predicted learning experiences and was positively predictive of personal mastery, verbal persuasion, vicarious learning and positive emotions, while negatively predictive of negative emotions.(3)the paths from resilience to career decision-making self-efficacy were mediated by learning experiences, only personal mastery and verbal persuasion were as mediators of the paths from resilience to career decision-making self-efficacy,vicarious learning and emotional arousal were non-significant in model testing;(4)the paths from learning experiences to outcome expectation were mediated by career decision-making self-efficacy.The study preliminarily examined the role and mechanism of resilience as an antecedent variable in the CSM model, and tested learning experiences as mediators of the paths from resilience to career decision-making self-efficacy.It has a certain theoretical significance for the application of resilience in career model, and also provides some practical inspiration for career counseling and early career planning of college students.
