Pluralism is the mainstream trend in the contemporary world.More and more scholars pay attention to the cultural identity of different ethnic groups.In the new stage of cultural exchange between China and Dominica,this paper mainly focuses on the issues related to the “Chinese cultural identity”of the new generation of Chinese ethnic in Dominica.This paper takes 64 students from Instituto Cultural Dominico Chino as the object of investigation,and uses the questionnaire to investigate the status of “Chinese cultural identity” and “Chinese learning”.First,the paper takes “cultural identity” as the starting point,and conducts an investigation from three dimensions: cultural identity,cultural symbols and cultural values.Based on the score of “Chinese cultural identity”,the conclusion is that the new generation of Chinese ethnic in Dominica has a high degree of Chinese cultural identity,and they are established as “New generation of Chinese ethnic”.Secondly,through the investigation of “learning motivation”,“learning attitude” and “learning achievement”,the paper finds that: the new generation of Chinese ethnic “learning motivation” basically has the psychological tendency towards Chinese “language culture” group,and “learning attitude” and “learning achievement” are great.Finally,based on the score of “Chinese cultural identity”,the paper divides the samples into three categories: higher degree of identity,relatively general identity and lower level of identity.The analysis results show that: the Chinese new generation “Chinese cultural identity” and “learning motivation”,“learning attitude” and “learning attitude” are analyzed There is a significant positive correlation between the results.
