Research On Outdoor Music Festival From The Perspective Of Interactive Ritual Chain

Since 2000,outdoor music festivals have been booming in China,with an increasing number and market segmentation,gradually expanding from provincial capitals to second-and third-tier cities.Although it is still in the initial stage of development in general,with the continuous improvement of economic and cultural level in recent years,the number of outdoor music festivals and the number of participants are increasing year by year,with rapid development.However,the academic community has not paid much attention to the outdoor music festival,and the research on the outdoor music festival is far behind the development of the outdoor music festival.The research mainly focuses on the communication strategy,development status and profit brought by outdoor music festival,while the cultural research on outdoor music festival is seldom involved.What role does the outdoor music festival play in the participants and what cultural significance does it construct?In this study of existing research and media interpretation combing,using the participatory observation,semi-structured interview method,from Randall Collins' s theory of "interactive service chain" perspective,research and analysis why the outdoor music festival as a kind of interactive service,and how to form the interactive service chain and develop its cultural value.From the perspective of interactive ritual chain,outdoor music festival gathers people with the same identity,constructs a field of interactive ritual for the participants with its unique situation,activates the online and offline interactive community,and generates the accumulation of emotional energy and the transformation of membership symbols.Finally,the outdoor music festival plays a cultural value by virtue of its interactive ceremony chain,which promotes the construction of socialist spiritual civilization.
