A Study On Islamic State's Development And Evolution

Since 9·11,threat of terrorism has been enjoying a striking popularity around the world.The world anti-terrorism situation becomes even more serious especially when the “Islamic State of Iraq” declared its alliance with Al-Nusra Front,also known as Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant(ISIL)or Islamic State of Iraq and al Shams(ISIS).With its own characteristics and danger,ISIS bears lot of differences from the “Qaeda” matter in scale,speed or purpose.However,ISIS shares close relationship with the “Qaeda” when it comes to the process of development.Problems like how to attack the ISIS;how to effectively curb its development trend;how to response to the threat of ISIS;and how to eliminate its regional forces have become the priority for domestic and international safety.Based on the existing researches on terrorism and ISIS,this paper studies the origin and development of ISIS by focusing on reasons for the current situation of ISIS.In the end the paper reaches effective and cooperative measures attacking ISIS regionally and internationally.This paper consists of four chapters.Chapter one centers on the background,development and the related theories of ISIS.Chapter two analyzes the major content,organization,and characteristics of ISIS.Being greatly different from the traditional terrorism organizations,ISIS has built an huge organization and national operating system,which became an obvious difference from the management and development of traditional terrorism organizations.By taking the danger of ISIS as entry point,chapter three analyzes the challenges brought by ISIS to international society and its influence on the rise of terrorism.Chapter four,as the summary of the whole paper,proposes that countries in or out of the region covered by the force of ISIS should shoulder various responsibilities as different roles and work together effectively so that the political,economic,and cultural development of all countries could be maintained.
