A Study On Public Participation In Television Politics In Nanning From The Perspective Of Participatory Governance Theory

With the continuous development of China’s economy,politics,society and culture,the public needs to diversify constantly.At that time,the way of government and social co-governance needs to be modernized constantly.Currently,there are relatively few avenues and platforms for public participation in government and social governance.Television policing is one of the new effective platforms and channels for public participation.In this paper,the public participation in television politics in Nanning was selected as the research object,taking the participatory governance theory as the theoretical tool,and discussing the five elements of the public participation in television politics,namely the subject,content,platform,function and effect.The public participation in Nanning city’s television policy has showed the trend of diversification of subject,enrichment of content,platform diversification,strengthening of function and the emergence of effect.However,due to the fact that public participation is driven by administrative power,coupled with a weak sense of civic politics and culture,and the shortcomings in the design of television censorship programs,there are still some problems,such as lack of main body capacity and motivation,insufficient public content setting,limited platform force,difficulty in playing universal function and low level effect.This paper intended to puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on the five ways of public participation in television,so as to further enhance the level of public participation,improve the government governance capacity and level effectively,and thus achieve the goal of good governance in government and society with public participation,finally to build a"pattern of social governance for all".
