Marx’s Thought On Common Interest And Its Value

Marx’s thought of common interests is the result of his deep exploration and reflection in the interest issues.The interest issues were studied in our country at the reform and opening up,before this period,and the study of common interests was ignored in the field of theoretical research for a long time.After that,due to the implementation of market economy,the importance of interest issues gradually were highlighted,which lead to people urgently need Marx’s thought of common interests to standardize and guide people’s practical behavior with high awareness.And then the study of his common interests was made a progress.This paper is divided into three parts to discuss Marx’s thought in common interests,as follows:First of all,through reading and sorting out the classic texts of Marx in historic formation process,his common interests thought is divided into the stages in embryo and infancy,and growth and mature.Specifically,in the embryo stage of his thought,Marx expressed his basic attitude about the common and personal interests in his choice of profession,and believed that he should focus on the work value in the common interests of mankind.In the Period of Rein Newspaper,he criticized the private interests of forest occupants in order to defend the common interests of the poor in the debate of forest theft law.In the preliminary thought,Marx expounded the relationship between the common interests and the individual interests by revealed Hegel’s philosophy of law in reversed thinking so as to make the proletarian interests in line with the common interests of mankind.And the liquidation of the theory of “The Holy Family” reveals the objective existence of common interests and their interdependence.In the forming stage of his thought,Marx recognized the basis in reality of the common interest.By the systematic elaboration of the common interest,he not only revealed the essence of the common interest but also criticized Bentham and Steiner’s erroneous understanding in the common interests and personal interests.Therefore,he expressed his correct interpretation between the common interests and the personal interests;In the mature stage,Marx discussed the common interests of mankind which revealed the realization of common interests in commodity exchange and the unity of common and individual interests.It was believed that the common interests of the proletariat was the common interests of mankind,which was realized by the great union of the proletariat from all over the world,including the communists represent the common interests regardless of any nation.Secondly,the paper summarizes the main content of Marxist thought on common Interests by studying and dealing with Marx’s classical texts.Marx reveals the social essence and development logic of the common interest by putting the common interest in the realistic interest relationship.Marx’s common interests belong to the category of social interest relations.In essence,it embodies the interdependence relationship among the people,which refers to the mutual cooperation and mutual perfection of the interest subjects in a certain range or level for the personal interest.The important factors are formed by realistic individuals,human needs and interdependence between individuals.The common interest is developed with the individual interest,in which the division of labor leads to the contradiction between the common interest and the personal interest,while the freemen’ s union realizes the real integration in common interest and the personal interest.The common interests and personal interests have undergone several stages of unification,differentiation and integration.The realization of common interests is a historical process from spontaneous to free.Due to different social conditions,carriers and means,the degree and nature of the realization of common interests are different.It mainly involves the realization of the virtual Common Interests and Individual Interests.Finally,Marx’s common interests have an important age worthiness,which can meet the theoretical and practical needs in socialist construction and development in the new era.Marx’s common interests is not only conducive to deepening our understanding in historical materialism,but also highlighting the position of the masses as the main body in common interests,and consolidating the theoretical basis for the individual to establish a healthy views on interests.They are all clear that common interests are the prerequisite for the construction of China’s socialist market economy,which promoting achievement of the common prosperity in achieving that well-off society,fostering socialist core values and interpreting the great significance for the construction of a community of shared future for mankind.
