Health is the foundation of all-round development of human beings, and the foundation of all other activities.Health plays a significant role on the happiness of each individual.Since the beginning of the 21 st century, our country's economy has developed rapidly and the people's income levels have been continuously improved. At the same time, the elderly population in China has continuously increased and the process of population aging is accelerating. With the rapid increase of the elderly population, the health problems of the elderly are increasing. It also becomes more and more important. With the increase in income, has the health of the elderly improved? Based on the existing research, the author puts forward the following questions: What is the health status of the elderly in China? Does income have a significant impact on the health of older people? If there is an influence, what is the effect? This paper uses CGSS2013 survey data, and firstly uses the Logistic regression model to analyze the elderly subjects surveyed nationwide.Next, the effects of income on the health of the elderly in China are studied from the perspectives of gender, education, and register area. From the above-mentioned aspects, the factors that have an important influence on the health status of the elderly are obtained. From the analysis results, income does not have a significant impact on the improvement of the health status of the elderly at all levels. Therefore, the improvement of income can improve the health status of the elderly at a certain level. In addition to improving the income level of the elderly,it also needs other supporting measures to promote the health of the elderly. Finally, according to the results of the study, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed.
