Since we entered the 20th century, the motality rate of the whole world has dropped significantly, the life expectancy has improved a lot; meanwhile, the fertility rate is dropping rapidly, both factors will inevitably cause the increasing of the elderly both in amount and in percent. Obviously, this is the doomed in the development of human society and trend. China entered aging stage in 2000, when our economy level is still low. However, some developed countries such as Japan and America have possessed a certain economic capacity when they became aging. But our current level of economic development is at the relatively low level of the world, we are in a situation of "old before getting rich", aging has been ahead of the social and economic development. In addition, China’s aging population is also characterized as rapidly development, large amount and imbalance between regions. Therefore, exploring an efficient way to solve the problem of aging is essential for our country. This article is separated into two parts to analyze the factors that influence the health of Chinese elderly. Firstly, Based on the 2010 census aged sixth data, using the concept of generalized relative risk which was proposed by Zhao (2013) and Cox proportional hazards regression models, I compared the relative merits of different socio-demographic status of the health of the elderly quantitatively, namely that different gender, age, residence, education level, and the deterioration of the health of the elderly marital status relative risk size. And I also use the data of 2004 which is about the survey of the self-care of the elderly population. By comparing the data of 2004 and 2010,I can get the conclusion of how year can affect the health status of the elderly by using the binary logistic regression model. The results show that:the health of the male elderly is better than female elderly; with the increase of age, elderly health status decreased significantly; urban and rural health of the elderly have some imbalances, urban elderly health status was significantly better than the rural elderly; education has a positive impact on health, but there may be some fluctuations; marriage to elderly health has a strong role in promoting the health of older; the health status of the elderly have some improvement with the development of our country.According to the conclusion, I propose the following suggestions to further improve the health status of the elderly:(1)Strengthening of women’s preventive health of the elderly; (2) Strengthen the rural health care, and promote social equity; (3)Strengthen health education elderly; (4)Pay more attention on the marriage status of the elderly, fulfill the law about the marriage of the elderly; (5)Encourage the elderly to participate society continuely; (6)Organizing more social activities to invite the elderly to participate in.
