An Action Research On Improving The Qualityof Life Of Adults With Intellectual Disabilityunder Community Service

Currently,the community service mainly provides vocational training and employment support services for adults with intellectual disability,but usually they have difficulties in their employment.This study attempts to use the life-oriented service model in the community service,focusing on the experience of complete life for the adults with intellectual disability,respecting the longing of life and the pursuit of quality of life for the mentally challenged,and supporting the life with quality.This study takes a case as an example to understand the status of life quality under the service of community,to explore the implementation course of life-oriented service model under the community service and the influence on the quality of life of adults with intellectual disability.This research mainly uses action research,under the community service,the life-oriented service model is based on the case life status,and the Life Quality Improvement plan is formed with the case demand as the guide,and analyzed,revised in the process of implementation,then carries on the action,maintains the cycle process,finally discusses the entire research implementation course.The results show that: 1,under the community service,the life-oriented service model can have a positive impact on the quality of life of the adults with intellectual disability,and its implementation includes: Diagnostic assessment,preparation of individualized support plan,implementation of one-day activities and four aspects of effectiveness evaluation 2,The personal desire of adults with intellectual disability is an important motive force in tandem activity promotion and life quality promotion 3,support resources and strategy change with individual,environment and activity factor,supporting result to improve the quality of life 4,family strength is the important factor that affects the quality of life of the adult intellectual disability.
