The Comparative Study Of The Reification Critique Theories Of Lukacs And Marcuse

Reification Critique theory is an important part of social criticism theory of western Marxism.The reification theories of Lukacs and Marcuse all contain the inheritance and regression to the tendency of traditional metaphysics.Although they have profound and original critique to the reification phenomenon of the capitalist society and its overall rule to people and the society,they have eventually become the victims of the bourgeois thinking contradiction,because they still think problems in the reification logic and finally degenerate into ideology.The comparative study of the two theories contain four parts.The first chapter explains the core ideas of the two theories respectively.The second chapter explains the differences between the two theories and their reasons.To be specific,the chapter analyzes the different points from the way of reification critique and reification deconstruction.And it also analyzes their reasons from the background and the source thoughts of the two theories.The third chapter is the correlation betweenthe two theories.And the part is divided into four aspects: the starting point,the core and the deconstruction way and the traditional metaphysics tendency.The fourth chapter is the evaluation of the two theories.The part firstly is the value and limitations of the two theories and then the deep evaluation of the two theories and finally explains the significance of Chinese modernization construction.The comparative study of the two theories,based on the needs of the construction of the Chinese modern society and the modernization development,compares and explains the two theories.In addition,the comparative study also analyse the differences and the correlation.And on the basis of improving the general judgment of capitalist modern society and the general understanding of modern civilization,this paper makes a dialectical rational analysis and critical reference to the two theories,in order to provide useful reference for modernization construction and the development of modern civilization of our country to prevent the emergence of reification and the appearance of one-dimension society.
