The Research On Agricultural Genetic Recourses Benefits Sharing Systems

With the rapid development of Biotechnology in recent decades,more and more developing countries have also begun to pay attention to protect their agriculture genetic resources.Because they are facing a serious "biological plagiarism" phenomenon in the field of genetic resources,most developing countries are still at a disadvantage in the benefit sharing of genetic resources.So it is necessary for the developing countries to build a interests sharing program for their agricultural genetic resources.China is a country rich in natural resources.Chinese people have cultivated varieties of crops in the agricultural history.But in China,because of the unique characteristics of genetic resources,there has been great controversy over the ownership of genetic resources.What is worse,The value of agricultural genetic resources has not been accurately recognized in our country.We should clarify the ownership before protecting the agriculture genetic resources.and take as much as possible to build our interests sharing program.To solve the these problems.The following aspects will be discussed.Firstly,discuss the definition of genetic resources.Secondly,The international convention on the protection of genetic resources is introduced in the third chapter.Thirdly,i will analyze the international convention and foreign legislation concerning the genetic resources.Finally,in view of the absence of agriculture genetic resources protection in China.I put forward the suggestions for improving the benefit sharing system of genetic resources.
