Since Israel's founding in 1948 and the signing of the Oslo Agreement in 1993,the military confrontation between Israel and Palestine has taken priority,and Palestinians living in Israel have been regarded as potential hostile forces of the country.Education often serves as a political tool used by the authorities to influence Palestinian citizens.this article seeks to examine Israel's attitude and purpose towards Palestinians in the country during this period by discussing the education situation of Palestinian citizens from 1948 to 1993The article is divided into three parts: introduction,text,and conclusion.The introductory part is a review of the background and significance of the topics selected,research status at home and abroad,and research ideas.The body part consists of three chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the Palestinian education system after the founding of Israel.First of all,it briefly describes the source of the article—the Palestinian citizen of Israel and the background of its existence.Secondly,it focuses on the Israeli government's education and separation policy for Jewish citizens and Palestinian citizens,including the purpose,formation process,implementation state of the governance policy,and the adverse impact on the Palestinian education system have formed a preliminary impression of the Palestinian citizen education system.Chapters 2 and 3 focus on basic education and higher education systems for Palestinian citizens,and they are the focus of the article.The second chapter is a summary of the basic education system of Palestinian citizen.This article includes elementary schools,junior high schools,and high schools in the basic education system.First,it introduces the evolution of the three types of schools on the time axis and highlights the influence of graduate employment and progression.The development and development of high school education;followed by vertical and in-depth analysis of teaching internals,analyzing the evolution of the teaching objectives of the three basic courses-history,language,and religion in small,elementary,and middle schools,while making contrast with the same curriculum in Jewish schools,peeking at Israel's educational attitude towards Palestinian citizens.Finally,we discuss the situation of teachers in Palestinian schools,including teachers' development profile,status and teaching situation during the period from 1948 to 1993,and their dilemmas between national needs and national requirements in the teaching process.The higher education of the Palestinians is the center of the third chapter.For Palestinian citizens in Israel,higher education is not only a stepping stone for their integration into Israeli society,but also a necessary basis for building a Palestinian nation state.In this chapter,the first section analyzes the motives of Palestinians for higher education.There are two motives for the pursuit of higher education.The second section discusses the difficulties of enrolling Palestinian students.The main reason is that the basic education system is at a disadvantage,resulting in insufficient student capacity and Israel.Barriers to higher education enrollment mechanisms-college entrance exams and academic ability assessment tests;Section 3 summarizes higher education status including enrollment rates,university curricula and employment prospects;Section4 focuses on the analysis of the impact of higher education on Palestinian society including it builds a bridge for the dialogue between the two peoples as well as maintains Palestinian national identity and promote Palestinian social change.The fourth chapter summarizes the full text.Through the discussion of the first three chapters,the article concludes two conclusions: 1.Israel's Palestinian education system aims at serving Zionism;2.Education maintains Palestinian national identity.
