The long-standing conflict between Palestine and Israel has been one of the cause of the turmoil in the Middle East.It also considered as one of the core regional issues which has been constantly concerned by international society.From the perspective of Power Constructivism theory,this thesis is mainly about the changes in the relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel on the Palestinian issue,analyzing how does Saudi Arabia change its attitudes towards the Palestine question.In the end,it is concluded by using the theoretical logic of Power Constructivism that Israel's compulsory power has exerted a constructive influence on Saudi Arabia.Saudi Arabia gradually recognized Israel's will to power and changed its position on the Palestinian issue.This thesis consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction includes the background,significance of the thesis and the literature review of the research topic;The main body of thesis has four chapters,the first chapter is the theoretical guidance which describes the core concepts,such as the division of power types and the definition of norms;Through examples,the construction mechanism and the basic conditions for the formation of norms are quoted.The second chapter is the analysis of the Faisal period.It introduces Saudi Arabia's original position on the Palestinian issue and changes in attitudes.It shows the fact that Israel's occupation of Palestine has a compulsory impact on Saudi Arabia.but the transformation is not enough to form the restrictive norms;The third chapter is the analysis of the Khalid period.The Fez Declaration marks the changes in Saudi's attitudes from military confrontation to political negotiations.The compulsory power relationship is continuously strengthened,and the restrictive norms have been formed.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the Fahd period.We understand that the concept of Saudi Arabia has changed again.The 2002 Arab Peace Initiative marks SaudiArabia's recognition of Israel's right to exist,the willing to normalize relations and further strengthening of its power relations.The formation of constitutive norms has completed;The last part is the conclusion of this thesis.
