Study On The Legal Issues Of The Environmental Protection Of Antarctic Tourism

In recent years,the problem of environmental protection in Antarctica has gradually become the latest research topic and the theme of relevant forums of scholars in various countries.One of the great challenges facing the Antarctic environment is the increasingly hot Antarctic tourism.Antarctic tourism has brought economic benefits and also aggravated the unoptimistic environmental problems of the Antarctic.Therefore,in this context,the study of the environmental protection of Antarctic tourism is of great value and social significance.This paper begins with the background of Antarctic tourism and the environmental problems arising from it,and then combs the current relevant regulations and analyzes the shortcomings.By referring to the legislation of several representative countries in the domestic Antarctic environmental protection,we can find out a legal solution to the problem of environmental destruction caused by tourism activities in Antarctica.The legal solution of this article covers three aspects:the management model,the management subject and the management object of the environmental protection responsibility of Antarctic tourism.Finally,according to the fact that the number of Antarctic tourists in China is increasing rapidly and the relevant domestic standards are not clear,there are several suggestions for speeding up and perfecting our Antarctic environmental protection system and safeguarding China's potential interests.
