Study On The Effect Of Non-governmental Awards On Civic Morality

Civic morality construction is an important part of building well-off society.With the development of market economy in China,the increasing Non-government awards had became an important power promoting the construction of civic morality.In 1997,Deqing county in Zhejiang,initiate FOLK AWARDS,which common people by setting up awards to improve the social ideological and moral cultivation.In these 20 years,Deqing had set up the NGO called ‘Folk Awards Association' managing these 51 awards.The ‘Folk Awards' in Deqing,has provided a new path of civic morality construction which combined government guidance and folk implement.The thesis take FOLK AWARDS as example,analysing its operation and management.Then,through cases and interviews,reaching the contribution in public welfare and social stability.Afterwards,by analysing the difficults,puting forward the measures led to the promotion of management system and good cooperation between the NGO and government.
