The Research On Mode Of Social Stability Maintenance In Lancang Lahu Autonomous County

Social stability and social development are two themes for the frontier.With the increasing speed of modernization development,these two themes gradually emerge.The social stability in minority frontier areas is the premise and the foundation for the further development of frontier society.Only further consolidating and maintaining the social stability in minority frontier areas can make the frontier areas even our country have better development.The frontier areas have a vast territory and rich resources and border other countries,but it also has complicated national and religious relationship and suffers the threat from social security problems at home and abroad.Therefore,in the process of social stability maintenance in our country,the social stability in frontier areas is the most important.Under the economic globalization development and the implementation of "the Belt and Road Initiative",minority frontier areas actively develop the economic cooperative partnership with surrounding countries.As an indispensable part in comprehensively promoting a well-off society in our country,at the same time,minority frontier areas are not only under domestic and overseas influence,but also threatened bythe mutual interlacing of traditional security and non-traditional security.At present,general ways for social stability used in minority frontier areas have been already incapable of meeting the new requirements of social stability in frontier areas.Therefore,exploring new suitable governance mode of social stability maintenance in minority frontier areas becomes an urgent problem.Mainly taking the mode of social stability maintenance in Lancang Lahu Autonomous County in Yunnan minority frontier areas as entry point,this thesis expounds the specific situation and the form of social stability maintenance in Lancang County based on a large number of collected historical information about social stability maintenance in Lancang County and the investigation about the recent situation of social stability maintenance in Lancang County.Through the organization for historical evolution about the governance mode of social stability maintenance in Lancang County,this thesis particularly analyzes reasons,features and realistic difficulties of the mode adopted in the process of social stability maintenance in Lancang County.It provides beneficial reference for the mode perfection and improvement of social stability maintenance in minority frontier areas with the theories of frontier maintenance,social stability and so on.
