Research On The Standardization Of Medical Service In Mental Health Hospitals In Shanghai

In recent years,the prevalence of mental health illness in China has been rising,and mental health has developed into an outstanding social problem.With the Mental Health Law and other relevant laws promulgated and implemented,the government has paid more and more attention to the standardization of mental health service,putting forward new requirements for the medical service in mental health hospitals.But the mental health hospitals have some common problems,such as insufficient allocation of mental health beds,inadequate professional personnel and outdated medical equipments,which has an impact on.the provision of professional mental health services in these hospitals.Therefore,this study is important to effectively solve the problems and further standardize the mental health service.By means of literature research,individual interview and comparative study,this article makes a systematic study on the standardization of medical service in mental health hospitals in Shanghai.First of all,this article reviews the relevant literature to study the current research of scholars at home and abroad,providing help for this article.Then,this article analyzes the present situation of medical health service,problems and reasons in mental health hospitals in Shanghai.Secondly,this article conducts a contrastive study of the experience of mental health hospitals in the United States,Britain and Japan.Finally,this article aims at the existing problems of the standardization of medical service in mental health hospitals in Shanghai,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions.The study finds that the mental health hospitals in Shanghai exist such problems as insufficient mental health beds,inadequate professional personnel,incomplete medical equipments,lacking of enforcement of regulations and standardization of mental disorder diagnosis.The main reasons include imperfect mental disorder diagnosis system,insufficient government funding,the medical insurance payment policy,tight mental health medical resources and the lagging construction of mental health professionals.By making a comparative study of the experience of mental health hospitals in the United States,Britain and Japan,the article sums up the countermeasures for the standardization of medical service in mental health hospitals in Shanghai,including giving full play to the leading role of government,enhancing the infrastructure construction of mental health hospitals,strengthening the training of mental health professional personnel,improving the level of medical services in mental health hospitals and promoting multi-sectoral collaborative governance.
