Study On Family Mediation In South Africa Under The Concept Of Ubuntu

The interpersonal disputes have always existed in human society,and family disputes are also the same.The theme of this paper is "study on South African family mediation system under the concept of Ubuntu",it focuses on explaining the idea"Ubuntu" that guiding the South African family mediation system into operation,and then take it as the center of the research,this paper expounds the normative characteristics and main contents of the family mediation system in South Africa.Ubuntu is a traditional core value of South African society,which includes rich humanistic connotation such as unity,love and reconciliation.The basic tenet of the family mediation system in South Africa is "restoring family harmony"and "restoring the relationship of relatives",which is the core value and basic spirit of Ubuntu.Whether in the traditional period or in modern society,the family mediation system in South Africa and its practical operation can see the influence and imprint of the idea of Ubuntu everywhere.Since modern times,China and South Africa have similar historical experiences in colonialism.The concept of Ubuntu in South Africa is very similar to the"harmony" thought and "harmony" culture advocated by Chinese traditional culture.Therefore,this paper makes an interpretation and discussion on the family mediation system in South Africa and its concept of Ubuntu,and the problem consciousness and research logic behind it are suitable for thinking of the "Chinese family mediation system and its basic guiding principles.Therefore,after summarizing and interpreting the cultural concepts and rules of the family mediation in South Africa,the article contrasts and analyzes the differences and relations between the concept of Ubuntu in South Africa and the "harmony" culture in China.On this basis,it tries to explore the enlightenment of South African family mediation system and its guiding principle to the modern development of Chinese family mediation system.Specifically,this article is divided into three parts:the first part focuses on the basic connotation and concept development of Ubuntu.Firstly,this part summarizes and clarifies the concept of Ubuntu,and then interprets its important position in the social spiritual world of South Africa,and identifies its status changes in the traditional culture and modern civilization of South Africa.Finally,it further clarifies the value appeal and spirit of the complex connotation of Ubuntu.The second part mainly introduces the main norms of family mediation system in traditional SouthAfrica and modern South Africa,and probes into the significance and influence of Ubuntu on the value spirit,system norms and operation of the family mediation in South Africa.The third part makes a comparative analysis of Ubuntu in guiding family reconciliation in South Africa and the concept of "harmony" culture in Chinese family mediation.This part first introduces the role and influence of the "harmony"culture on the Chinese traditional and modern family mediation system,and then compares the differences and relations between Ubuntu and the Chinese "harmony"culture.Then it compares the differences and similarities of the family mediation in South Africa and China,and compares the differences and connections between the two in the ideological and spiritual aspects.Finally,it thinks about the value and enlightenment of Ubuntu and the family mediation system in South Africa to the development of the family mediation system in China.
