From Child To Self:The Change Of Feedback Model In Rural Areas And The Predicament Of Elderly People Support

Feedback model is the tradition of family support of old age in rural areas in our country,with the transformation of industrialization and urbanization,family support of old age has changed.In this paper,the author investigated the situation of the support of old age in Z village from everyday life and micro experience.It is found that the old age's dependence on child is weakening in rural areas,while self support of old age is strengthening.The main feature is that old age live alone,It is reflected in many aspects,including living spaces,financial support,Care of life and Spiritual comfort.Self support of old age is the production of the compromise between the traditional resource and modern demand.On the one hand,the modernization of family and society Caused a centrifugal force between parents and children.On the other hand,the traditions have a profound influence on rural old age,which appears as the pursuit of life of “easy to meet” and the action logic of “children are the most important thing in life”.but,old people can not support their all demands by themselves,and they do not know how to do when they are disabled.Western developed social support gave us inspiration,but we cannot ignore the power of traditional culture.the support of old people needs adjustments in the process of the modernization.
