A Study On Feminist Marxist's Theory Of Gender Division Of Labor

The Marxist view of women provides a very high starting point for the study of feminism Marxism which inherits the core essence of Marxism and shows that the result of gender oppression is not only the result of the capitalist system,but also the dual role of patriarchal oppression.From the perspective of gender division of labor as an entry point,this article tries to analyze the reason why men and women are always in an unequal position in the process of observing the evolution of history,and discuss how women move toward freedom and liberation,taking the proposition of labor as a breakthrough in the analysis of the problem.We Feminism argues that female slavery is the result of socialization from a gender perspective.If we want to present free,equal,fair and harmonious gender relations,we must rebuild a completely new gender division of labor that is suitable for the development of contemporary society to break the shackles of the binary mind that sets men and women against each other.What Marxism provides for gender equality is not only the philosophical significance,but also the reference value of practical application.This article discusses from the following four aspects.The first part mainly discusses the reasons for the Marxist gender division of labor theory of feminism.To understand the existing problems of gender division of labor,it is necessary to trace back to the source to explore the historical process of gender division of labor.Marx and Engels put gender issues into the history of human society to examine.They found that the accumulation of social wealth and the basic establishment of patriarchal blood relationship are the fundamental reasons for the transformation of women's status in social life,which at the same time affects the status of family marriage.It is only by eliminating exploitation and private ownership that the problem of women can be resolved.The profound analysis of the historical roots of Marxism provides a great reference value for feminists to solve the problem of gender division of labor.The second part mainly analyzes the division of labor between women in the family and society.Deep excavation of the double oppression of women inside and outside is also included in this part.Women are docile by nature and physically inferior to men.In the private sphere of the family,they are oppressed,and capitalists will use their characteristics of selfless dedication for their husbands to extract their residual value.In society,they are also subjected to unfair conditions.And the long-term oppression makes women have to be attached to men.The result is a vicious circle.The status of women has plummeted.In modern civilization,although the status of women has been greatly improved,but the gender division of labor is still unreasonable,which needs our attention.The third part mainly points out the contribution and theoretical limitation of feminism Marxist in analyzing the gender division of labor.We should inherit it critically,take its essence and discard its dross.The fourth part mainly expounds the enlightenment of gender division of labor for the development of women in China.
