A Study On Terrorism In Post-gaddafi Era Of Libya

In 2011,the Arab Spring swept through the Middle East.Many countries in the Middle East and North Africa broke out the movement to overthrow the current regime in pursuit of democracy and peace.Under the influence of this wind,the movement against Al-qaddafi's current regime was also erupted in Libya.People demand that the long-term ruling Gaddafi step down,and the resulting armed conflict.Then in the intervention of international forces,Gaddafi regime collapsed,Gaddafi was killed.But the post-war libya did not usher in peace and democracy,but fell into turmoil.This paper is the background of this incident,focusing on the post-Gaddafi era of Libya terrorism.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is a combing of terrorist organizations in Libya.The main terrorist groups active in Libya are the al-Qaida Islamic Maghreb,the Islamic State,the Ansar Brigade in Benghazi,the Ansar Brigade in Delna,and the Abu Salim Martyrs Brigade.These terrorist organizations have launched several terrorist attacks in Libya.The article focuses on the attack on the US Embassy in Benghazi.The car bomb explosion at the French embassy in Libya and the Islamic State's kidnapping of Egyptian hostages were the three most affected incidents.The second part analyzes the causes of terrorism in Libya from three aspects.Firstly,the internal factors of Libya,the political instability in post-war Libya,tribal contradictions,unique geographical location and Libyaundefineds unique proliferation of weapons and refugee resources,have led to the spread of terrorism in Libya after the war;Secondly,is the continuous infiltration of international terrorist organizations,the new political organization in Libya is the direct cause of the infiltration of post-war terrorist organizations,and the attack on terrorism in the neighboring countries of North Africa has increased the infiltration of terrorist organizations to Libya objectively.The third is the irresponsible Libyan policy of the West.The third part focuses on the impact of terrorism in Libya,including three levels.The first dimension is the impact on Libya,which threatens domestic security and affects the reconstruction of the country;The second dimension is the impact on the region,terrorism is rampant in Libya,causing instability throughout the North African region,resulting in the displacement of the entire region of the population;The third dimension is the international impact of terrorism in Libya,exacerbating the refugee crisis in Europe and putting the entire region under the shadow of terrorist attacks.The fourth part is to analyze and forecast the evolution trend of the future terrorist activities in Libya.Mainly from the domestic and international aspects of the factors affecting the Libyan terrorist activities,the author believes that the Libyan terrorism in the international community under the joint attack,the future of the possibility of continuing to rage in Libya;But there is still a long way to go for the international community to wipe out terrorism in Libya.
