Research On Legal Problems Of Block Chain Cross-border Payment

2016 was the first year of financial technology,in which year,block-chain is beginning to break into the eyes of public and sweeping the global financial industry,payment settlement,credit,asset management and many other industries.Although the technology of block-chain in financial technology appeared for the first time in the peer-related paper,as the bottom technology of Bitcoin was mentioned.However,today,the concern about the block chain is much higher than that of Bitcoin.Among the many practical applications of blckchain,the most concern is the application in the payment and settlement field.The high cost and inefficiency of cross-border payments have led to the search for lower-cost,more efficient cross-border payments,and the rise of block-chain technology has provided a way for people who are struggling to find new breakthroughs.How can cross-border payments be better available for more customers? Apart from the technical concerns of the blockchain itself,the most important one is the lack of legal supervision.This article is to discuss the problems caused by the use of blockchain in the cross-border payment field to the existing legal supervision.In the first chapter,the reader is briefly introduced the application and advantages of blockchain technology in the field of cross-border payment.The following sections present various aspects that may arise from the application of new technologies from both international and domestic perspectives.The third chapter clarified the corresponding regulatory measures and regulatory models promulgated by the United States,the UK,and several other representative countries and international organizations which providing corresponding reference for China's legal supervision of the use of blockchain technology in the cross-border payment sector.At the end of this article,by presenting several existing supervisory models,I analyzed regulatory models suited to our conditions and put forward some personal opinions on application of blockchain cross-border payment.Looking forward to it's early application,regulators valued the impact to their application on legal supervision,incorporate it into the scope of legal supervision,and make it positive,which will help improve the direction of the current cross-border payment system.
