Research On The Relationship Between Ideological And Moral Quality Education Of Chinese Police Officers And The Promotion Of Legal Construction

After the 18 th National Congress of Chinese Communist Party,each department pay more attention on improving the ideological and political education of police officers,in order to build a fair and integrity police force.Police officers are the backbone of protecting people and safeguarding public security,they are fighting against all kinds of violations and criminal activities.With the acceleration of the reform and opening-up policy,more and more unstable factors appear,the working environment of police officers has become more complex,and the job has become more burdensome.With the increasing temptation,police officers are more likely to choose the wrong side,and it is very hard for them to keep the procedure fair,just and open.As the solid foundation of country,how to improve the ideological and political education of police officers has become more and more important.This thesis is based on real cases.Through the research and visit to both the police officers and citizens,the author has found out the problems in the public security system,and also proposes some effective solutions.As a member of police force,the author hopes his suggestions could actually solve some of the problems.On the basis of literature research,case research and historical research,the author visited a lot of police officers,took a deep research to the existing problems of the public security system.Through the analysis of research and data,the author purposed four solutions.First,to strengthen the ideological and political education of police officers through Marxist theory,to prevent negative thoughts from the origin.This is the basic of realizing a fair,just and open public security system.Second,to hold more seminars on training system.These conferences should be hold in the form of interaction and incentives,no formalism,in order to enhance their working skills.Third,to raise the salary mechanisms and to increase the opportunity of promotions.While strengthening the ideological and political education of public officers,improving their working and living environment,in order to resist the temptation of money.Finally,to perfect an open and transparent two-way supervision system between the grass-roots level and the leadership level.As a police officer,the problems and solutions that I have indicated are specific to the real public security system,which embody the research attitude of specific analysis of Marxism.It is a long and necessary task to enhance the ideological and political education of police officers,as their behavior has fundamentally influenced the establishment of the legal system and the development of the society.The author hopes that this thesis could actually make a contribution to the constitutional society.
