Research On The Protection Of Financial Consumers' Right To Know

Financial consumption has quietly entered into the life of ordinary people,and has become a part of people's daily consumption.The protection of financial consumers' rights has also aroused widespread concern in the society.The protection of the right to know of financial consumers is the basis for the protection of other rights of financial consumers.Starting from the concept of consumers,this paper expounds the characteristics of financial consumers,outlines the concept and scope of financial consumers' right to know,and the necessity for the protection of financial consumers' right to know.This paper analyzes the legislative status of China's financial consumers' right protection,and points out that the legal status of the financial consumers is not clear,financial institutions of information disclosure system is not perfect,financial institutions that obligation is not clear,the protection of financial consumers' right relief mechanism is not perfect and so on.Developed countries on financial consumers' rights protection legislation is relatively perfect,mainly introduced the United States,Britain,Japan for financial consumers' right protection legal system,and puts forward some revelations to improve China's financial consumers' right protection,including the importance of financial information disclosure,the construction of financial institutions that rules of conduct and establish a complaint handling and special relief program.We can learn from the experience of developed countries to protect the reasonable right of financial consumers,and combined with the problems existing in the protection of right to know of consumers in China,to clarify the basic principles and legal status,improve the financial institutions financial consumer information disclosure system,strengthen financial institutions,the establishment of a complete financial obligations that consumers relief measures from the aspects of legislation,step by step to improve China's financial consumers' rights protection system.
