| Legal aid is an important means provided by the state for vulnerable groups and parties to statutory special cases to seek relief and protect their legitimate rights and interests.It is also one of the basic human rights of citizens.The legal aid system in modern sense has changed from the initial lawyer's charitable act to the state's legal responsibility.The legal aid system has been in existence for nearly 100 years,but is still a new thing in our country.After more than 20 years of development,China has formed a relatively complete legal aid system,which provides the institutional basis for seeking relief.Although our country's legal aid system is relatively perfect,there are still many deficiencies,such as funding sources narrow channels,the responsibility of the main body is not comprehensive,lack of uniform assistance legislation,inadequate regulatory mechanisms.The current regulatory system is no longer sufficient to meet the demands of reality,improving the legal aid legislation and the working mechanism becomes the focus of our current work. |
